Imran Khan, the former prime minister and chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, instructed all 26 of the party’s members of parliament in the Sindh Assembly to submit their resignations to Khurram Sher Zaman on Monday.
While verifying the incident, Khurram stated that Haleem Adil Sheikh, the opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly, is also aware of the circumstances. Khurram further stated that he will submit the resignations to the Sindh Assembly as soon as Haleem gives him the go-ahead.
The MQM-P is now pleading and reminding Zardari of the agreements he made with them, Khurram said in a statement in response to the discussions between former president Asif Ali Zardari and MQM-P leaders.
As the person to whom they are begging would soon be removed from Sindh, he claimed that the MQM-P will once again fail in its efforts.
He said, “The promoters of regime change have lost their peace of mind and restless nights.” According to the PTI leader, any agreement must be supported by solid reasoning. He said, “But the MQM-P no longer even has the Mohajir card to back its cause.”
According to Khurram, Imran Khan is now supported by all of Pakistan’s people, even those who speak Urdu. “Even before the local government elections, both parties fear losing.” People are aware that the MQM-P supports all of the coalition government’s poor policies,” he continued.
After being dissatisfied with the Supreme Court and the establishment for not allowing the holding of early general elections, the PTI chairman revised his tactics and chose to resign from all provincial assemblies on Saturday.
The PTI would therefore lose control of the provinces of Punjab and K-P as well.
According to political analysts, Imran wants early elections because of his popularity among the people, and the PTI will easily win a majority of the seats at this time.
Second, the PTI head is facing disqualification in many cases, most notably the Toshakhana and illegal financing charges.
