To give young people the chance to support themselves through various business and agricultural endeavours, he introduced the Prime Minister’s Youth Business and Agri-loans Program.
The prime minister expressed his willingness to give up his political career and his own life for the benefit of Pakistan during the launch event in Islamabad, highlighting the challenges the nation is facing at the moment.
He acknowledged the serious concerns Pakistan is experiencing and highlighted that politicians and all Pakistanis must take action to overcome these problems.
The programme would give young people the chance to pursue various economic and agricultural endeavours as means of subsistence.
The premier acknowledged that Pakistan is going through a difficult moment but added that the wealthy and powerful will also have to “make sacrifices for the country.”
“I served three times as the chief minister of Punjab, and I am currently the prime minister of the nation. What legacy will we leave behind if these problems are not resolved? It is obvious that Pakistan is experiencing significant obstacles, and if we have accepted responsibility, we will use all of our remaining resources to help the nation overcome its problems,” he insisted.
By declaring, “I have advised the IMF chief executive that Pakistan is keen to complete the ongoing review and fulfil all the requirements put forth by the IMF,” he also emphasised to the IMF boss Pakistan’s willingness.
PM Shehbaz Sharif highlighted that saving the state and politics at the same time is not viable.
He emphasised that before requesting that everyone else make concessions, the elite class must first make some.
He continued, “It was wrong to burden the poor with price hikes and leave the rich and privileged to luxuriate on the country’s debts.”The individuals in charge of affairs, politicians, and the wealthy must set an example.
As part of the scheme that was just announced, young people can get loans for up to Rs 7.5 million with convenient instalments and low-interest rates. The loan amount of up to Rs. 500,000 would be interest-free.
The young people in Pakistan had the skill and potential to lead their country out of its current challenges, the prime minister remarked, expressing optimism.
