Islamabad: Chief of Army Staff General, Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the flood hit areas of Swat on Tuesday August 30, 2022 in order to get on ground updates related to the expulsion of stranded people and to review the relief operations in the areas of Kumrat, Kalam and surrounding territories.
On his visit he met the evacuated local residents and tourists rescued by Pakistan army helicopters. The people thanked him for the cooperation of army in this crucial time. The people expressed gratitude for not only helping them but also bringing comfort to their families who were worried about their safe return.
