On Thursday, September 1st, 2022, the PM will hold an important meeting with the party members. All national and provincial assembly members are called to attend this session in Islamabad tomorrow evening.
The central and parliamentary leaders are summoned to discuss the current conditions of the country. Further, Prime Minister Shehbaz Shareef will likely discuss ways to prevent more damage and rehabilitate flood victims.
In addition to giving directives concerning fundraising, sources say the Prime Minister is expected to provide PML-N parliamentarians with specific missions to help those affected by the flood.
Previously, Prime Minister Sharif had already given Rs10 Billion in assistance to flood victims.
Moreover, this session has been regarded as an “important” session. According to some sources, the reason behind this sudden meeting is to discuss the International Monetary Fund (IMF)’s loan plan. However, nothing can be said ahead of time.
