Next week, Karachi is expected to observe light to moderate rain

Starting next week, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts light to heavy rain, high winds, and thunderstorms in several cities in Sindh, including Karachi.

According to the PMD, many western disturbances will enter in the region on November 4 in the evening and remain until November 7.

Rain is expected in the following locations on November 6 and 7 as a result of the system entering the country: Quetta, Zhob, Barkhan, Chaman, Pashin, Qila Saifullah, Loralai, Bolan, Sibbi, Kallat, Khuzdar, Lasbela, Awaran, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Karachi, Qamber Shahdadkot, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Naseerabad

From November 4 to November 7, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Malakand, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan could expect thunderstorms, high winds, and a chance of snow.

Between November 5 and 7, strong winds, thundershowers, and hailstorms are expected for Bajaur, Peshawar, Mardan, Charsadda, Swabi, Nowshehra, Kurram, Kohat, Waziristan, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Gujranwala, Guj

On November 5 and 6, there is expected to be a lot of rain in Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Murree, Guliyat, Kashmir, Islamabad, the Potohar area, Gujarat, Gujranwala, and Sialkot.

The day temperature is expected to drop by up to 7 degrees Celsius in the upper regions, including northern Balochistan, and up to 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in the southern regions of the country.

In addition, a cold wave will probably sweep across the higher regions of the country including northern Balochistan, as soon as the rains end.
