The Japanese government has condemned the assassination attempt on Imran Khan during PTI’s long march.
Japanese embassy released a statement that states that Tokyo’s foreign minister Yoshimasa Hayashi sent a message to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The Japanese minister said that he was “utterly shocked and saddened by firing which took place on November 3 near Gujranwala”, which left Imran Khan wounded and killed one.
“I pray for Mr. Khan’s speedy recovery and those injured. I also express my condolences to the victims and bereaved family,” added Hayashi.
He explains that Japan strongly condemns this act of violence against democracy and shows its resolute solidarity together with the government of Pakistan and the Pakistani people.
