Imran Khan will find out on Monday if he is qualified to run in the NA-45 Kurram by-election.

The returning officer has requested legal advice from the election board over the legitimacy of the PTI head after the former prime minister was found ineligible in the Toshakhana issue.

The election authority has scheduled a meeting for Monday at noon to discuss the issue. The legal counsel will address the constitutional concerns raised by the commission.

In a letter to the body, the presiding officer had questioned whether the former premier could run in the by-elections or not in light of his dismissal in the Toshakhana reference.
